Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AI Architect to design and lead the development of scalable AI/ML solutions across our fintech platform. This role will be responsible for defining AI strategy, architecting robust systems, and ensuring seamless integration of AI capabilities into financial products such as fraud detection, credit scoring, and personalized financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the AI/ML architecture roadmap aligned with business goals.  
• Design end-to-end AI systems including data pipelines, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Lead the development of AI solutions for:  
• Fraud detection & prevention  
• Credit risk modeling  
• Customer segmentation & personalization

AML (Anti-Money Laundering) systems  

• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, product teams, and compliance stakeholders.  
• Ensure scalability, security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., RBI, GDPR where applicable).  
• Establish best practices for MLOps, model governance, and lifecycle management.  
• Evaluate and implement new AI technologies, tools, and frameworks.  
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code/design reviews.  
• Translate complex AI concepts into business value for stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in AI/ML architecture roles.
• Strong experience in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling.

Proficiency in:

• Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)  
• Data engineering tools (Spark, Kafka)  
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).  
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and APIs. Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, etc.).  
• Knowledge of fintech domain (payments, lending, banking systems) is highly preferred.  
• Familiarity with data privacy, model explainability, and ethical AI practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in real-time AI systems (low-latency inference).  
• Knowledge of graph-based ML, NLP, or anomaly detection systems  
• Exposure to regulatory frameworks in financial services.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, deep expertise in Node.js ecosystems, and proven experience building high-performance, secure, and scalable applications.  

You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application.Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
